Taylor Construction Plant Ltd is aware of CSR, which refers to the way in which businesses
regulate themselves and ensure that all our activities positively affect society. Our CSR
policy aims to guarantee that we work ethically, considering human rights as well as the
social, economic, and environmental impacts of what we do as a business. Taylor
Construction Plant Ltd will meet, and aim to exceed, any relevant legislation, and if
legislation does not exist in a particular area, the company will ensure we carry out best
practice. Taylor Construction Plant Ltd are committed to ensuring that any business
undertakings are conducted as ethically as possible by following the below policy.

Who we are and what we do

Taylor Construction Plant Ltd have supplied the UK with compaction equipment and portable
lighting for over 30 years. TCP have designed and manufactured their own lighting towers
powered by hydrogen. TCP offer off grid power solutions using similar technology to the
Ecolite. TCP's hire range also includes the versatile Zallys battery powered wheelbarrow and
Wacker battery powered plates.

assessed to the ISO 9001-2015 standards and designed and operated so that our
Customers (Internal & External) can be confident in the reliability and delivery on time of our
plant and services and our responsiveness to their needs, safely and with due regard to the
environment. We will work with and support them in meeting their requirements for total
satisfaction in the goods and services we provide and support them in meeting their own
corporate and social responsibilities.

Suppliers’ Standards

In line with the requirements of our major customers, sustainability is a core theme in our
Procurement Policy. Our Bribery and corruption policy commits to acting with integrity and
working to our values at all levels in line with the Bribery Act 2010. We expect our suppliers
to adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and have Corporate Social responsibility policy
compatible with ours.

We will support local suppliers of goods & services whenever possible.

Protecting the Environment

Our Environmental Management System certification to ISO14001 commits us to prevent
pollution, ensure sustainable resource use, address climate change mitigation and
adaptation and protect biodiversity and natural habitats and identify manage and monitor
outcomes of positive and negative impacts associated with the environment in which we
operate.

We will take all reasonable steps to conduct our operations in such a way as to minimis
negative environmental impacts including recycling waste mitigation and the reduction of
carbon footprint in relation to energy, transport, and water usage.

Community Engagement

We will support and build relationships within the community in which we operate, integrating
them into our solution outcomes by creating employment, and deploying customer
engagement plans to minimise our impacts in our locations. We are committed to ensure
that our operational and transport activities cause minimum disruption to our neighbours and
the public at large. and aim to secure long term employment opportunities and
Apprenticeships in all our locations. We welcome work experience candidates throughout the
year; ranging from school pupils, college students, trainees and to those looking to get back
into work. we have partnered with Colchester Institute to provide NVQ Level 3 Qualifications
and apprenticeships.

Measurement

Performance is measured by analysis of internal audits against KPI’s. This analysis is used
for the annual Management Review to identify performance and progress.
